Update: Kind Words

So, attempting to get back to my regularly scheduled program: I’m not sure if I’ve ever had a worse end to the year than 2016. However, I can also say, I’ve never had a better start than 2017.

Those of you who follow me on Tumblr might have noticed my minute in the spotlight back in January – I had made a post highlighting the difficulties of Korean-to-English translation, using a recently popular Korean webcomic as an example. I hadn’t expected anything to come out of it, and yet so many people have reached out to me since then, asking about my culture or just wanting to get to know me. It’s been a delight.

So, thank you to everyone for the kind words, and thank you to everyone who bought me a coffee! Some people even encouraged me to add the button to my blog, so there it is now, on the side bar. Your generosity is both heartening and motivating, and words can’t adequately describe how much I appreciate it. Which is, well, kind of bad since I’m an aspiring writer, aha.

In any case, thank you, and thank you to those of you who read this blog as well. I owe it to both you and myself to improve upon this blog even further as time goes on. My schedule may still be inconsistent for a bit until my school’s workload settles down, but I ask that you be patient with me.

I always appreciate every view, like, and comment on my posts, so thank you everyone!

((I will get back to posting goals and what goals I have met once I finish the three presentations I have due next week))
