So, I saw an interesting little post on Tumblr recently – a challenge titled 52 short stories in 52 weeks. I’ve always been envious of the artists on the internet who get so many fun ‘art challenges’ and ‘art memes’, so of course I’m going to try and tackle this one head one. Before I start, however, I’m going to set a few guidelines for myself:

1. These short stories will be updated on Wednesdays so that I can’t use conflicts with my monthly updates to cheat and postpone a week.
2. These short stories will be at least 800 words in length.
3. This challenge will start August 10th, 2016 because I know myself and the chances of me actually writing a complete short story on an 11 hour bus ride instead of falling asleep is slim to none, and I might actually want to sightsee around Philadelphia while I am there. More importantly, even if I did manage to finish the first one by this Wednesday, there is no chance of me writing while I visit my baby foster brother’s family – I haven’t seen my baby brother in a year, no way I’m spending my time on anything but him while I’m there!
